The exhibition « The Dresses of Time / ail about the flame » is part of today's reality, but its conceptualization goes back to the very source of being, to its timelessness. Whether it is linen, costume or clothing, it brings us back to what is basic. A vast poetic and philosophical metaphor of human fibre, the entire structure of the exhibition weaves stories of the lives of men and women from all backgrounds. This symbolic presence invokes cultures and civilizations. It is crystallized in the traces of moments of existence. The recycled material used to create the works becomes the material memory of men and women participating in a multi-cultural community event, which is the very image of humanity.. « I who have lived among the threads and braids all my life, I believe that humanity is woven : our body, our soul, our breath, sound, writing and all our gestures. Like a spiral thread, first in two twisted threads, then in three braided threads, the fibres are woven, intersected, disheveled, merged, felted, broken up and then spiraled again. All this knowhow seems to be inscribed somewhere in order to teach us the cycles of Nature. ».
